This portal will Offer all significant information and advice about COVID-19, vaccine development, continuing clinical trials and advancement made in this area locally and internationally to generate consciousness among the people. The “vaccine web portal site” and also the “National Clinical Registry for COVID-19” have been formulated with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) . The National Clinical Registry for COVID-19 will gather systematic information on clinical signs and symptoms, lab investigations, management protocols, the clinical course of COVID-19, disorder spectrum and results of hospitalized COVID sufferers in India.

In the event the Minister said, men and women, today are very excited and curious to learn more about the Covid-19 vaccine advancement. He stated all of the info about the recovery growth from COVID-19 has to be given in a very straightforward and comprehensible method. He requested all the curious people to visit the site on to find the latest information on vaccine development.  He highlighted the role of proper nutrition and physical activity in day to day life while adding that faulty nutrition habits have been damaging the health of people, especially the younger people.

Dr. Vardhan glorified the clinical journey throughout the COVID-19 war period and stated that they increased with more than 1800 laboratories from a scrap of only one specifically designed for COVID-19 testing. Now in India, daily Covid-19 tests have crossed a margin of 15lakh samples per day.

Harley Davidson

Harley DavidsonRecently Harley-Davidson, an American motorcycle manufacturer made it to the list of global auto manufacturers that exit India. Few global auto companies that broke ties with Indian market were American based United motors, Eicher Polaris, MAN Truck & Bus, South Korean based Ssangyong Motors, Italy based Fiat and US based Cleveland motors.

The official statement released by Harley-Davidson group notified the reason for the departure and for closing down the Bawal manufacturing plant in India as lack of sales or less demand.

Harley-Davidson entered the Indian market in August 2009 and the retailing operations were established in 2010. And later in 2014 the motorcycle group started manufacturing street 500 and 750 bikes at Bawal plant in the state of Haryana which is the only manufacturing plant of Harley-Davidson company in India. Harley-Davidson Inc. has 35 dealerships across India and may affect the work of 2,000 employees and workers.

From April 2020 to June 2020 Harley-Davidson company appeared to be in a loss of 96 million dollars. According to the report announced by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) 176 motorcycles were purchased in the month of August 2020 and only 103 units were sold in the month of July 2020.Harley-Davidson used “THE REWIRE STRATEGY”. Rewire strategy means the transfer of marketing and supplies to better and balanced profitable zones.

Harley DavidsonThe price of Harley Davidson is so high that the entry level motorcycle alone costs ₹4.69 lakh rupees. Being a foreign company Indian government charges taxes and excise duty. ‘Make in India’ motive is also one of the reasons why Indians are far from the reach of this Milwaukee based company. Indian roads are not highly developed compared to other western countries and one can find potholes and bumpy surfaces along the path which makes it difficult for riders and Harley motorbikes are generally meant to be driven along a straight road.

India, being the largest motorcycle market is surrounded by competitors like Hero, Honda, Royal Enfield, Yamaha, TVS, KTM, Suzuki and are favored by majority of the citizens in India because of their mileage range, lightweight and affordability when compared to H&D company motorcycles.2019 recorded the lowest sales for the auto industry which is declared as the perpendicular decrease in sales since the last 20 years. And right after, the sales were again hit by the pandemic and the situation got worse.

There is no doubt in saying that Harley is aging and since the last few years Harley-Davidson group have been facing the crisis related to sales and demand and retailing market  not only in India but also in America. According to the report given by analysts, 70% of the auto industry market share in India is achieved by just 10 branded companies and most of them have settled around more than a decade ago.

Finally it is reported by the sources that Harley is holding a talk and is discussing with HeroMotoCorp to be the sole distributor of Harley-Davidson motorcycles in India.

Hypersonic: Happening Technology in the Indian Weapon Club

DRDO - Hypersonic Missile

DRDOThe Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) of India have successfully tested a hypersonic technology demons-trator vehicle (HSTDV) on Monday. This great achievement gives the entry card to our India of the hypersonic missile club. India joins this club as a fourth member after USA, Russia and China.

Hypersonic missiles are one of the most advanced war technologies. Basically, hypersonic weapons combine the maneuvering capabilities of cruise missiles with the speed of ballistic missiles. Compared to traditional missiles, hypersonic missiles are hard to track. Hypersonic missiles can even move at around 5 times the speed of sound. Both the speed as well as the maneuverability of modern hypersonic missiles has made them this practical as both defensive and offensive weapons. In case of any weapon the most important fact is the payload. Here comes hypersonic weapons which can deliver nuclear or conventional payloads anywhere across the world within minutes.

At Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha DRDO successfully tested HSTDV. In this test DRDO used a scramjet propulsion system which is indigenously developed. This HSTDV succeeded to meet all the technical parameters. This hypersonic missile capable vehicle can travel at 6 times the speed of sound (Mach 6).

DRDO - Hypersonic MissileAccording to The Defense Research and Development Organization’s planning, India will be able to develop such missiles in 5 years. HSTDV will be used as a vehicle for long-range and hypersonic cruise missiles. Moreover, HSTDV will also have several civilian applications. This can be used to launch small satellites in an economical way. According to the Defense Minister Sri. Rajnath Singh, this success is going to pave the way for a self-dependent India. The United States had successfully tested an unarmed prototype of a hypersonic missile in March, 2020. As per reports, Russia and China are also pursuing hypersonic weapons vigorously.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Navy vessels are going to be armed with underwater nuclear drones and hypersonic nuclear strike weapons which are in the final stage of testing. Like these three countries India is going to develop many more hypersonic vehicles, technology and materials with this great technological breakthrough.

The Indian armed forces have the supersonic cruise missiles which were developed jointly with Russia. These missiles were powered by ramjets which can travel at Mach 2.8 speed (Mach is the ratio of speed of a body to speed of sound). The HSTDV test was powered by scramjet which is the improved version over the ramjet engine. This says our Indian defense is becoming strong gradually. Good luck mother India.

Digital Education in India: Bunch of Hopes

Online- Education

Online- EducationTo continue the learning process amidst coronavirus pandemic, digital education is a must. Like other countries our India is trying to adapt digital education by arranging a digital ecosystem. This digital ecosystem in our education system can give us our desired life!

We all know that there is teacher shortage in India. The advent of interactive digital education can solve the shortage of teachers in our country. Moreover, digital tools connect students with different types of perspectives which will help them to grow properly.  Digital tools will also help students in engaging themselves. Nevertheless, the educationists have to think about the proper implementation of these tools. In this way, digital education can be effective for all. The most important thing about digital education is that every student should have the access and flexibility to attend the classes. In India, the quality of education varies from school to school.

In English medium schools, the quality of education is quite good. But in most other schools the quality of education is questionable. If Indian government can ensure digital education all over the country, the discrimination of education quality can be reduced.  But India is facing inadequate internet service, slow internet speed, no standard policy, parenting issues, teacher training etc problems. Besides, all of the educational institutions remain closed for the increasing rate of coronavirus cases. In this situation, online education is kind of a bright light in the darkness. India is trying best to minimize the problems.

Online EducationNational Optical Fiber Network (NOFN) now known as Bharat Network is trying to connect all the panchayats. According to the government, every Gram Panchayat will get 100 Mbps bandwidth from Bharat Network. In this way, everyone, especially the rural Indian learners, will get access in online education.

Like Bharat Network, National Knowledge Network (NKN) provides a high speed network for educational institutions in our country. Only some institutions can take the full advantage of this network. That’s why NKN is becoming flexible and expanding rapidly. Though technological intervention cannot substitute human connections, teachers are trying their best to overcome this. Indian government is planning to arrange training for the teachers to make them technically sound and psychologically alright. These steps will help the students a lot.  Already students have become digitally literate as well as good learners. As education becomes smoother, students are enjoying the learning process. This digital education is paving our desired path and making us more hopeful.

Covid Recovery Rate in India-Story of Hope

India Optimistic

India OptimisticDue to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) like other countries India is witnessing lots of unimaginable problems. In every state people of different ages started to suffer from coronavirus, many people died because of this, people were too frightened. Our government immediately took many effective steps to increase the recovery rate as well as balance the situation.

A nation-wide lockdown from the midnight of 24th March 2020 was announced by The Indian Prime Minister for lessening the coronavirus impact. For this, citizens controlled their unnecessary movements and only essential services of government and non-government were active. Though unlock 4.0 guidelines had been issued, India is still under lockdown. Nevertheless, India has one of the most coronavirus cases in the world. Fortunately, the best part is that the recovery rate is increasing regularly.

On 3rd September 2020, the number of new cases is 83,833 and the recovery rate is also impressive. Till now total coronavirus cases of India are 3,933,124 whereas, the total recovery number is 3,034,887 and the total death number is 68,659. The recovery rate is 77.16 %. The death rate is also surprisingly on a steady downward process. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said in a statement that implementation of all the necessary steps, treating immediately and appropriately through a widening medical care infrastructure with the help of the states across the country, etc are the root causes for excellent improvement of the number of recoveries in India.

India OptimisticAccording to his statement, focusing on the proper use of non-invasive oxygen, improved ambulance services, and better-skilled doctors both in the hospitals as well as in ICUs have been confirming the desired results. Besides these steps, some biological and environmental factors are helping to stem the incidence and severity and increase the recovery rate.

Most of India has either tropical (type A) or dry climate (type B). As per reports, high relative humidity and temperature surprisingly reduce COVID-19 transmission and India becomes fortuitous! The protective cross-immunity development in our population against the coronavirus can play a vital role in increasing the recovery rate.

Whatever the reason lies behind the improvement of corona recovery cases, the fact is people of India are overcoming this coronavirus bit by bit. Now people are more careful about the transmission and they are trying to maintain personal hygiene and social distancing norms provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the Indian Government and trying to adjust the new normal life. In India, even though Covid cases are rising in most of the states, Indians are optimistic about the recovery rate.

Air Bubble Travel : Become Global Again

Air Bubble

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, almost everything around us has been changed. International flights have been banned. Like many other countries the Indian government has declared that the ban on international flights is going to be continued until September 30, 2020. Based on the coronavirus behavior further decisions about international flights would be taken by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

The worst part is our citizens who are stuck in foreign countries and the foreigners who are stuck in India are suffering a lot. That’s why the Indian government started the Vande Bharat Mission. According to this, our people who are stuck in other countries and foreigners who are stuck in our country can travel with a legal agenda. But this process has some major issues like flights are pretty limited; passengers are being prioritized as in for whom travel is really necessary and many more.

To reduce all these obstacles, the Government of India has recently introduced the Air Bubble Transport Arrangement. This is a bi-lateral bubble travel agreement in which citizens of selected countries are allowed to travel to other selected countries. This is also called corona corridors. Australia and New Zealand set the example of world-first air bubble travel. Air bubble travel is going to allow us to be global citizens again. For this, people from all over the world are going to be thankful. Through this process, international borders will remain open. According to the latest unlock guidelines, air bubble travels are allowed in India with standard operating procedures.

Air BubbleTo control the crowd and minimize the flight passengers have to maintain some rules and regulations. The countries with whom India has created the air bubble travel agreement are the USA, France, Germany, UK, Canada, UAE, Qatar, and the Maldives. Indian Government is now negotiating with Australia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Nigeria, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Kenya, and the Philippines to start air bubble travel.

The important thing is that people who want to travel through air bubbles do not need to register on the Civil Aviation Website. Passengers do not need to do any formalities with the government for this particular travel. The airline will take all the formalities. In the case of both inbound and outbound flights, passengers must have to follow all the standard operating procedures provided by the airline. The Civil Aviation Minister has informed that efforts will be continued to establish such temporary bi-lateral agreements with other countries in the coming days.
