The ICMR has also pioneered to Give Stroke therapy through the High Tech Mobile Stroke Unit at Tezpur and Dibrugarh regions of Assam. The healthcare unit has been supplied by Union Health and household welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan via videoconferencing. “Considering the massive burden of stroke and also lack of stroke maintenance centers in Assam, this initiative can go a long way in treating the desires of their people within this field.
