NEET 2020 UG Counselling was scheduled to start on October 27 but was postponed due to technical issues. The new date to begin counselling is October 28. The NEET 2020 registrations for admissions to the All India Quota seats are started by Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
On 16 October, NEET 2020 results were declared. The number of aspirants who arrived in the entrance exam is around 14.37 lakh, medical students. Depending on the rank and marks the medical students will be given admission to 80,005 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc and AH seats in dental, medical colleges, and universities. Medical students that cleared NEET-UG 2020 entrance test and are waiting to apply for seats in BDS or MBBS courses in India are eligible to submit an application or registration form for NEET Counselling. NOTE Only one application for one student and if anyone is found for applying more than 1 application then the student will be disqualified or debarred from the counselling procedure.
REQUIREMENTS OR DOCUMENTS
To apply for NEET-UG 2020/Counselling, one needs to have some verification documents. Students must carry an admit card for NEET-UG 2020 given by National Testing Agency (NTA), rank or result letter, Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, and results in papers. Other necessary things are 8 passport size photos, provisional allotment letter, reservation certificate (if any), and original identity proof.
NEET UG 2020 COUNSELLING SCHEDULE AND DATES
The above schedule is uploaded for Round 1 counselling. Students that have not contended with the allotted time in the first round are given a chance in the second round. Only the remaining seats after the completion of Round 1 are given in Round 2. The registration process for NEET 2020 Round 2 Counselling will start on November 18.
STEPS FOR REGISTRATION OF NEET-UG 2020 COUNSELLING
Step 1: Firstly login to the official MCC Website – mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: You will see a link “UG Medical Counselling”, click on this link.
Step 3: Select the New Registration link and after completion of filling the required details, click on the submit option.
Step 4: After this, you will get a new set of password and roll number. Use these details and register for NEET 2020 UG Counselling.
Step 5: Then go back to the login page, and upload the credentials.
Step 6: Fill all the columns and details and check them for any connection before submitting them.
Step 7: Now, all the details will be shown on the monitor according to the NTA database. Check the details and tap the confirm registration button.
Step 8: Select the colleges or universities and course according to your priority and lastly pay the total amount of fees for the counselling process.
